Interactive Tip Menu
You can make your MyTipMenu react to tips you receive on cam sites. Currently, this option is available for Stripchat, Chaturbate, MyFreeCams, and Cam4.
It can be done if using Streamster desktop app or Streamster mobile app.
Method 1. Streamster desktop app
Step 1. Setup your Tip menu overlay at https://app.streamster.io/overlays
Step 2. Download, install, and launch Streamster desktop app.
Step 3. Click the “Add channel” button and select the needed site from the list. Platforms compatible with interactive MyTipMenu are marked with the red “chat” badge.
Step 4. Click the “Login & Forget” button (we choose Stripchat as an example, but it can be any available cam site).
Step 5. Click the “Login” button.
Step 6. Log in to your account on cam site.
Step 7. If the connection was successful, the channel status will be changed to “Config obtained”. Click the “Add channel” button.
Step 8. Click on the “Chat” icon in the Streamster desktop app.
Step 9. Establish a connection with the cam site. Once you have done this, MyTipMenu will react to the tips you receive on the cam site you set up. In addition, you can also use the chat to communicate on the site right in the app, which is useful when multistreaming. Read more about Streamster multichat.
Do not close the connection to the cam site in Streamster desktop app during your stream. Once you receive the tip corresponding to one of the rewards specified in MyTipMenu, this reward is highlighted for a selected period.
In addition. When using MyTipMenu, you have several options on how to stream to the site:
Stream using Streamster desktop app. You can read more about setting up the live stream here.
Stream using an external encoder (e.g., OBS) and re-stream with Streamster. Set-up instructions can be found here.
Stream using an external encoder (e.g., OBS) directly. In this case, Streamster desktop app should be opened as well to establish connection for the interactive Tip menu.
Method 2. Streamster mobile app
Step 1. Setup your Tip menu overlay at https://app.streamster.io/overlays
Step 3. Click the “+” button and select the needed site from the list.
Step 4. Select the needed platform from the list. We’ll select Stripchat as an example.
Step 5. Choose the “Auto config + chats” option.
Step 6. Tap the “Log In” button.
Step 7. Enter your credentials for the platform.
Step 8. If authentication was successful, the channel status should be displayed as “Logged in”. Tap the “Open chat” button. Once it is done, the connection is established, and your tip menu will react to tips. You can also communicate in chat using your mobile device.
Additionally, you can use your smartphone as a remote control for your stream, including watching the preview, controlling camera zoom, and managing the stream. More details can be found here.
